The Toronto Marlies also signed forward Brayden Irwin to an AHL contract. He played for the Marlies last season on an NHL deal, and had 15 points in 45 games (was injured most of the season).
Enforcer Richard Greenop is still battling concussion issues from last season, and could be on the shelf this season. If he does play, he's likely destined for ECHL duty.
Maple Leafs need to make 6 more cuts before opening night.
