Today, the Maple Leafs made their final cuts to their roster. They sent down Keith Aulie, Darryl Boyce, Joey Crabb, Matt Lashoff and Mike Zigomanis. Boyce, Crabb and Lashoff will have to pass through waivers first in order to play with the Marlies.

Closing in on the arbitration deadline, the Maple Leafs locked-up two solid memebers of last years team. Both RFA's, Tyler Bozak and Clarke MacArthur have extended their future with the Maple Leafs for at least two more seasons.


MacArthur, 26, was able to cash in on a two-year deal that will pay him $6.5 million over that stretch. In terms of the cap, he'll be a hit of $3.25 million.

Seems like some Marlies filler..Deveaux, 25, was brought in last season as a UFA by Cliff Fletcher in order to fill the 'enforcer' void.  He didn't exactly work out in that capacity for the Leafs but provided the Marlies with a solid 6'4 presence each night.
